p0404, p0490, p0190 & p0251 on ford mondeo 2.0 tdci 2003 Hi I am owning a ford mondeo (europe) 2000cc tdci 115ps build in 2003. Engine code is either HJBA or HJBB. 278.000km done. I have had some trouble lately with accelerating, mostly around 3000rpm the engine kicks into emergency running, and after overloading the engine, the engine falls out.

Posted September 27, 2013. if you do remove the injector be carefull to remove and replace the copper washer at the base. It doesnt always come out with the injector, I used a piece of copper wire to hook it out. The injector wont need recoding.
4 - Code the injectors to the Ecu using the injector codes I made note of in step 2. 5 - Try swap the Pats chip from the new key into the existing key and see if it will start the car. If it doesn't, fit the new lock barrel and use the new key with its Pats chip reinserted.
On idle they were between 0.9 - 1.08, at 2000 RPM +/- 100 the rates of all cylinders were 1.00000079. Other facts - no problems in starting no matter if it is cold (-13 C) or hot, fuel consumption is normal, I haven't noticed any running issues except very slight RPM oscillation at idle.
Posted November 22, 2016. Use Diesel purge, it really works - you basically run it neat through the lines to and from the pump rather than diluting it (although you can add it to the fuel but it isn't as effective), I used some on my 1.4 TDCi at around 105k miles, drove so much better, smoother and quieter.
